“Over the next 18 months, we will expand our teams significantly to cover the emerging market opportunities in a few areas,” Rod Johnson, EVP of sales for North America, said in a news bulletin. At the show, the company announced the Control Center for supply chain management; the Infor Internet of Things platform for the cloud; TrueCost, a cost accounting and analytic product for healthcare; the delivery of the Coleman AI Digital Assistant; the Infor Fashion Product Lifecycle Management Cloud; a mobile app for Infor Expense Management. Infor CloudSuite Federal Financials & Supply Chain Management for the public sector; and Infor Go, a mobile app with single sign on which will work with the broad array of Infor applications. Johnson said the company is looking for” experienced ERP sales specialists”, along with hiring more people for the sales consulting team and its supply chain organization.

INFOR UNLEASHES PRODUCT WAVE
The fact that Infor issued 21 press releases on the first day of its Inforum conference this week indicates the broad product announcements made. No wonder CEO Charles Phillips’ keynote was preceded by a marching band and day before the event, Infor said it will be actively hiring.
